Requirements
• 5+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil construction, with a strong focus on hard-bid public works projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency with project management software (MS Project or similar), Excel, and standard construction tools.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and ability to travel statewide as needed.
• PMP, CCM, or OSHA certifications are a plus.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all phases of hard-bid public infrastructure projects, including underground utilities, water/sewer mains, lift stations, roadways, stormwater systems, and sitework.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution while ensuring strict adherence to contract documents, specifications, and public bidding requirements.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Conduct regular site visits, monitor progress, resolve field issues, and maintain safety and environmental compliance.
• Prepare and track project documentation including schedules, cost reports,change orders, and pay applications.
• Identify and mitigate risks
• Ensure projects meet FDOT standards, Florida regulatory requirements, and high public-agency expectations.
• Support smooth project handoff from estimating and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business.
