The lube technician is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a brand-new, fully equipped lube truck to perform oil changes, fuel refills, and basic maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators and skid steers. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized work vehicle, demonstrating mechanical skills, and adhering to all safety protocols. The technician will ensure accurate record-keeping of services provided and materials used, while effectively communicating with the team to facilitate smooth operations and timely task completion.
Requirements
– Possess a valid Class A or C CDL driver’s license with clean driving record.
– Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
– Drive our well-equipped (Brand New) lube truck from job to job, ensuring efficient and timely oil changes and fuel refills for excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment.
– Maintain a clean and organized lube truck, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are readily available.
– Demonstrate mechanical skills by performing basic maintenance tasks on equipment when required.
– Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
– Keep accurate records of services performed and materials used.
– Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
